I washed my 2610H today but doing this is nothing new for me but I did leave the key in it instead of pulling the key and putting the cap on. Now I don't know if this issue is because I did this or not. But now when I go to start the tractor as soon as I put the key into the position where the glow plug light comes on the tractor starts and it sounds like the start is still spinning until I turn the key off. I did notice when I pull the key it's wet. Has anybody else had or heard of something like this happening?

While it doesn't happen with the ignition switch, the clutch safety switch on mine will act up occasionally if I wash the tractor or if it happens to take a rain shower.

I do put the cap over the ignition switch when washing the tractor to prevent exactly what happened to you.

You probably need to take the ignition switch out and try to shake it so it pulls as much water out as possible, then soak it with WD 40, since it's a water displacement.

I went back out with my heat shrink gun and let it blow into the ignition switch for a bit and once the ignition switch felt warm I turned it off and let sit a minute and it worked perfectly. Everything seems to be good I will never wash it again with the key in the ignition cylinder or without the cap on.
