the lower lift arms are free floating. Raised and lowered by the vertical lift links attached to your upper lift arms.
The uppers can't be raised or lowered by hand.
Wake upVery few 3PH's have the ability to apply downpressure or "lock" the arms.

That I will dis-agree with...it can raised or your implement would not "float"
There is a rod connected to the rockshaft that is rounded that slips into the piston that is conical on the inside. This rod is free from the piston allowing the arms to lift independent of the piston.
