I just acquired a IH 1000 sickle mower. After 1 hour of mowing it seems mostly functional but it certainly has seen some hard life. Any way to estimate the age of this implement? I can not find any kind of tag on it.
How about determining what parts may be missing or modified? Is there a website somewhere where I could download or purchase a copy of a manual or any other literature for this old thing?
