IH 1066 tractor problem - white smoke, clicking, loss of power

Hi,
Was disking and tractor lost power, clicking sound was heard from engine and white smoke came out from beneath tractor. Have I blown the engine ? How bad is this? Was running tractor in correct gear. Am relatively new to farming (8 yrs), have 50 acres for oats and alfalfa, and need to get seeds in the ground. Time - and water- are running!

Hi - No fuel smell. Smelled like burned oil. Thoughts ?

If the "smoke from beneath tractor", and the smell of burned oil was coming from the breather tube, I'd bet your problem is a piston/sleeve issue. Nothing related to fuel or intake manifold. You most likely have internal problems.

Check intake between turbo and intakemanifold .If there is oil ........Then turbo or and or pistonrings
