IH 244 w/Haban 616 belly mower-belt problems

Hello

I recently purchased an IH 244 with a Haban 616 belly mower. The problem is that after I purchased new belts, I am finding that the belt between the PTO and the deck keeps rolling and popping off. Can anyone help me with this problem.
