When my tractor sits up a few months the lever for lifting and dropping the PTO sticks. almost to the point of not being able to move it at all. anyone have any ideas on how to loosen the thing up? I sqirted oil around the actual lever but that doesnt seem to help much. tks

Glad to see I am not the only one with a IH 254. The control lever for the 3 point hitch goes completely through the rear houseing and has linkage attached at the other side try lubricating these pivot points maybe that will solve the problem.
