Hey guys, just wondering if there is a way to find out what year a 384 was built. Found the serial plate and cleaned it off. And there was the serial number.. gone. Was the serial number just painted on and not stamped? Any help would be greatful. Found a number on the engine block, 3040912R4, if it means anything more than a casting number.
I find it easier this way when talking to parts guys or gals.
