Hi guys,
Im looking at an IH 435 baler that one of my friends is selling. I have a few questions: Firstly does anyone know what the rough PTO hp requirement is for this? we have an IH444 Diesel with 40 PTO hp - Is this likely to be enough to drive it. We mostly have flat ground so wouldn't need to work pulling up hills or anything.
Secondly, the guy says it has been stood in a dry barn for 3 years but was put away in gwo. Do you think there is much that could be wrong with it now that a good grease wouldn't take care of? Have seen it in the barn and i think i believe that its always been dry stored cause it looks like new!!
Lastly, how easy are parts for these balers to get hold of? I heard that some IH balers were notoriously difficult to get parts for? Also are the parts particularly expensive?
Cheers
Ben
