I have an IH 454 with a Bosch injector pump. The pump is leaking from the top of the pump around the diamond shaped plate which I think is the advance housing plate. These are my questions.
1. Can I just replace the seal for that particular part, or is it a sign of a bigger problem.
2. If it's just that seal, is it something a novice mechanic can do.
3. What is the procedure for removing the pump and once it's replaced how do you prime it.
