Hi there!!
I just joined TBN today. I've been living on 18 acres of "not yet a farm" for almost 7 years. The land had been so overworked and so abused, I felt it needed a rest. (yes, I'm somewhat of a tree & land hugger!). I don't have plans for "big" farming, as I call it. A few blueberries, some lavender, fruit trees, honey bees, and perhaps a garden or two? Since I'm the primary "farmer", I have to stick to my limitations.
I bought my first ever tractor last month. It's a New Holland T1520 ? I think? I'm numerically challenged, so it could be any combination of those numbers, or not. So far, I've played in the dirt with it a time or two and have begun cutting the fields. I don't have a bush hog yet, so I'm slow moving with the OLD Woods finish mower. I love being on that crazy tractor though! Life is good!
LOVING country life here in South Central Kentucky! Eager to learn more and get better at this stuff.
