I\'m about to do it.

Been surfin' the net and the tractor yards and I think I'm going to buy a B7500 with 272 loader and 60" belly mower. Seems to be the right price and the right power. I have seven acres, cut one acre weekly and the rest when the horses aren't keeping up. Also have to push some dirt and manure around. So.........have I made a good choice and should I stay with the factory recommended 272 loader or go to 302.

Thanks!

Re: I\'m about to do it.

Skogolfer,, Congrad. on your new B7500 I have had mine for 2 months and have 45hrs on it. I just love it. About the loader on mine they put a Great Bend loader on it, it has a little more lifting ability then both the 272 and the 302. That is what they say anyway. But I think there both pretty close. I would go with the 302 just for the lifting ability. I have ran in wet dirt where I can not even move it with mine so I would go with the biggest you can. Also fill your tires. When they brought mine home they had the rear tires filled and set all the way out. I wasn't to sure at first if I wanted my tires out all the way but I sure do like it now. It feels real steady with the loader full and even on uneven ground. Anyway good luck and my feeling is yes you made the right choice. Darin

golfer: go with the best loader u can afford. as for the filled tires, just remember! once the weight is in there, it is there! if too much weight is a problem on your ground u may want to go with add on weight.or use a rear implement fo added weight.u know best what your conditions are.

Mines got the 302, and I wouldn't go any smaller. I've had occasions when it couldn't "do" it straight away, and had to back off and come at it again with a different attitude (so to speak). I also have filled tires and a heavy boxblade. It may be too much weight for some conditions, but it doesn't bother me (so far).
