Lots of times people get assistance but never post results. I installed a hydraulic top link and spool valve on my 3038E.
Bottom line is I pieced together bits of information I got (here, dealers, Surplus Center, Summit, etc.). I ordered extra O rings from Surplus Center.
Today I finally understood (through my thick skull) open center spool valve passes hydraulic fluid do power beyond can be used. Also I figured out how to properly install O ring fittings. I feel like a dummy but learned something.

Also I installed a cab.
Any dripping is just water, I hosed tractor off.
