I'm considering a new 6010 Cab HST?

Hello everybody,

I've been researching tractors for about 5 months and I really want a new tractor instead of a used one. I think this tractor should run the 7ft dual auger snow thrower that I have. I also want to do the finish mowing of my 6.5 acres of grass with a 3pt 72" or 84" finish mower. Gravel driveway maintenance 700ft. and some bush-hogging and loader work. So who has a 6010 HST and how do you like it?

Just a quick reply without getting into specifics. If you are in the market for the 6010.....Look one step up to the 6110 with a shuttle trans instead. I would say it would depend on your usage if you are needing the HST. I have about 140 hrs on mine since buying it around March. I am very glad i have the shuttle trans over a HST.

I use it for everything, hay mowing, raking, round baling, hay hauling, 3-point blade grading, tree pulling, grappling brush, spreading manure, and bucket work. I will also comment on the cab......get it! Nothing beats a 95-100 degree day with the air on with talk radio playing and still "gettin it done".

For mowing, bush-hogging and snow throwing HST is hard to beat.

Sounds like the HST would be fine for you only thing I don't like about them is you loose to much HP. I have the 6110 Shuttle and so far I am very pleased with it.
