While talking to a friend at work I found out he had a air compressor he would like to sell as he only used it for one project in three years. It was purchased new from Lowes 3 years ago for 80 to 90$.
Its a CH smaller transportable air compressor. It works OK for nail guns etc. My use 99% of the time will be for filling the tires on my truck and girlfriends car. He agreed at 40$. That was very good for me. I'm tired of driving to the gas stations and finding out their air compressors are out of order. This is at two gas stations near where I currently live.
For 40$ it is a piece in mind to keep my tires filled or fill a flat tire and drive straight to the tire place to have it resealed. I could not ask for a better deal for me personally. My dad has had a CH small Air compressor for 24 years. Never has changed the oil or drained the tank and uses it weekly. It still runs. I will be maintaining mine and draining the tank. It will pay for it self fast when it is a time saver.
I have LOTS of air tools at work but would like to wait and spend the 300 to 400$ on a good air compressor to power them.
