Have the MS310 and the MS250 IMO great combination. I also did the muffler mod on both, wouldn't own a saw without one. I did the mod more for mechanical reason(get rid of heat) then power but the power is better.

What would you like to know? If you do a search for stihl muffler mods there is a lot of info. I didn't open mine up as much as some(can go up too 85% of exhaust opening), that way I didn't have to mess with rejetting. Been running my saws for years with the mods they run better then new. IF you decide to do it, just make sure you clean everything out good and don't go too big. I took the mufflers off drilled them out cleaned them up and replaced the spark screens, doesn't even look like they've been opened up. They do run cooler and have a bit more pep. I figure if they're running cooler and performing better then it should add time to their life span.
Thanks I will search and see if I can find some info on the mod.
Did MossFlowerWoods (David) ever get a saw yet??? Or test out any of the models mentioned to give some feedback?
But I've got my bucking area pretty much set up...
