Thanks to everyone who responded to the 3PH thread. Now that I know everyone has a lousy time attaching implements
this imatch concept seems more interesting.

What are imatch compatible implements? Do you need to buy imatch adaptors for your current implements or do you have to buy them that way?

Thanks again

Rob

Rob,

If you're talking about JD's iMatch, then many but not all of JD implements are iMatch compatible...talk to a JD dealer to determine which ones.

Why not just buy telescoping draft links? You'd have greater flexibility for all implements, JD amd non-JD alike.

When it (imatch) was explained to me by the dealer he said it would work with virtually every "common" 3 poiint attachment ... all you have to do is buy 3 bushings for each (or swap them from one to the other). Since I won't be changing implements too often I might not have listened as hard as I should have. The best bet is to check with your dealer!

Green</font color=green> and voilà you have an “iMatch”…

I’ve said it before… if given a choice between a Quick Hitch or telescopic lift arms… it’s much much more versatile if you purchase the telescoping lift arms… and hookup/disconnect just becomes old hat after initial usage…

That is not what I thought an iMatch was. The one you show is for a similar purpose, but isn't iMatch, which I thought was specific to JD and is their version of a quickhitch? The one shown here doesn't have a top hook, so one would have to get off to hook up the top bracket (not necessary with Landpride's version either). But I have a lot to learn.

It's too dark now... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

But, I took my "Hook" off and bought this adapter to work with "all" 3-point implements... the "hook" makes it incompatible with non-standard 3-point equipment... which is probably the majority of the cases out there...

Jim,

My dealer told me the same thing. In fact, he all but said that he didn't think this was any big deal, and that most guys wouldn't even get it unless it was already on the tractor.
