Here is a very simple tool I made to separate the implements from my BCS tractor with the quick hitch. Although the BCS videos and website make it look very simple, I have found it to be almost impossible without using this tool. I don't usually have much trouble connecting the implements and tractor as long as I line up the drive dogs before trying to connect them. And oil the hitches.

Both pieces are made from mild steel. The small part is just a 1/2 inch long piece of 5/8 diameter cold rolled bar stock. The second is a 10 inch long piece of 1/2 x 5/8 rectangular stock that tapers from 1/8 inch at the end to 5/8 inch over a distance of 4 inches. I'm sure anything close would work equally as well.

To use it, just set the round piece on the head of one of the cap screws on the male quick hitch. Then push and wiggle the tapered bar between the round and the stud of the tractor PTO. The PTO stud is rounded on the end and seems to be pretty durable steel. I haven't seen any evidence of it getting damaged by this tool and I've been using it for a while now. I try not to really pry, but rather wiggle and push. Then it's easy to pop the implement off either by just pulling it off, or prying between the two partially separated quick hitches.
