Impressed with ETrailer

I've been looking for a new receiver for my truck. Narrowed it down to brand and model, then looked for the best price. Found it on several websites, including E Trailer.com. They were about $10.00 higher then their competition, but I've heard good things about them, so I bought from them. I also filled out their 'Low Price Guarantee' form. If they don't have the cheapest price, then they will refund you 110% of the difference if you order from them. I did all of that late Thursday evening.

Early on Friday morning I got a shipping notice, along with a refund notice for the price difference. When I arrived home from work today, the hitch was sitting on my porch. I was pretty impressed. Granted, the hitch could've been packaged a little better. It was in a cardboard box, with some stapled pieces of cardboard holding it in place. The box was pretty rough by the time it arrived, but it did arrive and it's not that worse for wear. It did get a scratch, but it's a hitch. No big deal.

In any case, I was just very impressed with the ease of ordering, quick shipping, and helpful customer service rep I spoke to on Friday. :thumbsup:

+1! When I upgraded my trailer suspension to bigger Dexter axles this year I ordered all of the springs and hardware from etrailer. Great prices and fast shipping! I couldn't have been more pleased with them.

Also, if anyone is planning to buy Dexter axles I can highly recommend Humphreys Hitch and Trailer Parts for those. Their prices and shipping were very reasonable, and the axles were shipped directly from Dexter. I ordered 6,000# HD axles and am very happy with the whole experience! Based on how it turned out I should have upgraded the trailer years ago!!

I agree, Etrailer has always been great for me as well. Never had a time they didn't have what I needed in stock. Fast shipping. No complaints here.

I have bought a lot from etrailer and will do so again in spite of one little glitch. One particuler ~40$ item was listed at a certain price and when I added it to my buy list the price was 2$ more. I complained but never got a response. The discrepancy was corrected the next day. Pretty minor but pricing consistency is important to me but it did not keep me from subsequent buying.
