Ok Ok Ok, enough of all of your half baked ideas.

I'm in the process of patenting a unique, energy efficient, hybrid system designed exclusively for heavy equipment.

As I've not yet filed my provisional patent, so I can't give away too much information.

Lets just say it involves pedals, chains and lots of sprockets, lots of huffing and puffing and watter drinking.

I'll keep you posted.

I know, you don't have to remind me, it's briliant.

try putting it on a trailer, you can go miles and miles and the tractor won't use a drop!

I was able to dig up your patent app (I have friends with access) and I must say your idea just might work...

I think it needs ROPS though. :D

After the warranty is up I may just convert to bio-diesel. With half a dozen 'deep-fry' resturants in town, maybe I can get free fuel or get paid to take it.

hmmmmmm
There is no conversion needed to run bio-diesel, now if you are talking Waste Vegetable Oil, WVO, then that is another story.

For the record...... i was kidding about the Tornado. I hope no one went out and bought one on my sarcastic recommendation !!  Sorry it took me so long to admit i was joking, but i was given a little vacation from TBN. Luckily there are plenty of other forums to hang out at !!:D :D

Man did this post spin quickly out of control.

Have been laughing he whole time though.

Gotta love the trike tractor picture.

Hadn't thought about the trailer idea.

Maybe getting another tractor to use to push my tractor around with, that way my tractor uses less fuel.

Man you guys should be in charge the US energy markets, you'd have the whole energy crisis thing figured out.

Open to any other ideas.
With top fuel dragsters they wax before the run to make them slip though the air better.

I went to the dollar store and got a dozen helium baloons to tie to the tractor frame. This reduced the weight of the tractor by half. :) I also found that by only filling the loader bucket half full I get better MPG's, but it takes me twice as long to do something  . Any more ideas ??

I filled the tires in my car with helium once and had to tether it when I went in to shop. .....LOL

Why do I now feel guilt for starting this post??

I have come up with a few ideas on how to save, increase, and replace fuel while working:

BOWL LAWN - I will dig out the center of my lawn and shape the edges like a huge bowl. This way I will use less gas in neutral going down the hill and very little gliding up the other side, then repeat. It should act like a marble in a soup bowl.

BUNGIE TRACTOR - I will scape my lawn downhill away from my house, tie a huge bungee to the back of my tractor and away I will go. Glide down the hill and bungee back up, turn at the top and bottom and I should use very little fuel.

ELECTRIC TRACTOR - This will take some conversion and a bunch of electrical cords, but should be doable. I will keep cost down by plugging into the neighbor's outside electrical drop. Don't worry; he installed the post on my property so I think he wanted to share it.

NOSLE SHAKING DONATIONS - I will place 50 gallon drums next to the pumps at the 3 gas stations just down the road and place a sign on them that reads the following: "To help with spillage and ozone related fuel vapors escaping from the nozzle, Please shake excess fuel from nozzle into this excess fuel recycling drum. This way I can exchange the drums on my way home from work every day and replace them with empty ones.

I have other ideas as well, however I did not want to though all of them out there before I had a chance to run a few by all of you. :D

Well that waisted 3 minutes to think up...
