I'm in misery without a tractor. I've been searching for a long time, but I need help looking for problems in my plan.

So are you with or without a tractor? There are tons of cheap tractors on FB marketplace, anywhere from a few hundred to just a couple thousand $$$ depends on what youre looking for there are some Ford 8N ( or similar ) some come with attachments like a box blade, brush hog , bucket...sometimes the whole shebang ! Im about a 3 hour drive from you but they are everywhere up this way ( Festus, Desoto, Hillsboro, Arnold, Fenton )

Ask around, check dealer's lots. We have bought used tractors from small used tractor/implement hobby sellers and even bought a couple of new ones. Our local Kubota/New Holland will keep an eye out if you tell him what you want. Good luck and welcome.

Welcome, and there are also skid steer/loaders cheap too. Ive been debating getting one just for fun. some fixer uppers for $500 and older models around $800. The tracked ones go fast so got to keep on it if you want to land one. The ole farm tractors Ive seen go for $250 if they sit awhile on there. My buddy got an old tractor for $500 rebuilt the motor ( new sleeves and pistons ) and been doing food plots for the past few years with no issues.

Boy, that's no kidding. I used to play a few clubs down in Bonne Terre and Farmington back in the '80s, and I think I've never seen so many 8Ns for sale anywhere else as I did driving along US-67 south of I-55. Even used car lots had them.
