Hey, do these MT125s have cruise control of some kind on them?

When I bought mine in 2017, I paid $16,800 for the TLB, no mower. The dealer wanted $2250 for the mower, so I didn't get it. I also had to drive 1100 miles RT to go pick it up.

Your price quote is really good IMHO. A little less than what I paid over 2 years ago.

Also, just for your info, my resale value was only $800 less than what I paid, 2 years and 200 hours later. Never had any problems.

Yes they do, just set your speed with the pedal, throw the cruise switch to "on" and it's set. Hit the brake and it goes off, or you can turn it off with the switch. Really simple and works great!

Many folks use a backhoe for numerous other tasks than trenching. In actuality trenching may be one of the least uses. Tooth bar痴 and spades are not really required for bucket work. The bar may help in some cases. The spade is only good for certain types of soil & specific projects. The hoe can do them better.

^^^^^^All true !!!!!

Good good. That will make the wife happy for sure along with mowing the yard that much easier.

Two thoughts.

In my case, I find mowing to be a rough ride. My R4 tires filled with Rimguard make a hard ride to begin with, but my yard is something shy of a minefield with ridges, holes, divets, runoffs, roots and what not. It's a rough ride even with my two riding mower with air filled tires. A less hazardous yard may not be as rough for a SCUT with air filled tires.

I've used the BH as a scraper almost as much as a digger. I have an area where the long gone owners just piled a bunch of dirt for some reason. I've been using that to fill in some other holes around the property. But since it's been there for years, it hard packed and root filled, meaning I can't just scoop it with the FEL. I scrape a good sized area with the BH to break it loose and pull it into a softer pile that I can use the FEL to scoop. I'm not even sure I could do that with a tooth bar since I'd still be putting too much stress on the loader arms.

OK, one more before my brain quits this morning.

I have Cruise, but I've never used it. I don't have many long straight runs where I can maintain a constant speed for long enough that it would matter. Due to the yard layout and obstructions, I'm almost always changing speed or direction.

Well, we made it to the LS dealer. Even had lunch with the in-laws. The wife liked the tractor. The loader seemed to be a little twitchy, but I'm sure I'll be able to get used to the controls. He didn't have any with the mid mount mower, seems like most people just use a 3 point finish mower. I have fears of teenagers making a turn with a 3 point mower and swinging it into a tree or something. I have first hand experience as a teenager taking out some grape vines with a 3-point disk (good times!).

Got some numbers: (cash prices)
LS MT125 TLB + mower + Tax + 200ish Delivery fee= $20,200 (75 miles away)
Kubota BX23s TLB + mower + Tax = $24,048.77 (13 miles away)

Then there is a curve ball:
Bruno's Powersports (367 miles away)
LS MT125 TLB + mower = $17,000 delivered to my door.

I've searched here for Bruno's Powersports. I've read the cons. They just don't seem to out weigh 3 grand in price difference for the same tractor. Unless I am completely overlooking something.

I know of a couple of people that purchased from Bruno's. No problems, but they had to wait a few weeks to get the tractors. They usually wait to ship a few tractors all together to an area / region. Can't beat their prices.
