Bought the 650 in 1988, new. The 650 was a very good tractor and I've done an enormous amount of work with it with never a problem. The only thing I had to fix in 20 years was to replace a bad water pump gasket about 10 years ago. Go figure! I just hope the 2320 holds up as well. Have my doubts. Anyway I figure I may be pushing the envelope a little and it's just a matter of time before I need to spend big money on repairs, it was time for power steering and a HST transmission. Not to mention $10,500 on a trade-in, paid $14,500 for the 650 in 1988. Was going to pay cash for the 2320 but dealer talked me into financing some of it for the 0% for 48 months, made sense.Wombat125 said:That 2320 is a good looking rig.
Just curious though -- Why the upgrade? The old 650 still looks like she's still ready to put in an honest day's work.
What tractor do you have?RalphVa said:Good luck with the new guy. Hope I have as much luck (have so far) with my 18.5 hp wonder. Hope by the time I have to replace mine that JD is back making an 18-20 hp model.
