Incorrect Size Bucket

My TC33D came with a 7308 Loader. The bucket is 68". According to the loader manual, 60" is the maximum size for use on the TC33D. The 68" is reccomended for use on the 1720 & 1920 tractors only.My dealer says he will exchange it for a 60", but feels I will have no problems using the one I have. It works great for snow removal use and I would like to keep it, but I am worried that it might be dangerous. I would appreciate hearing your opinions on this matter. Thank you,

There are only a couple of minor concerns with an oversize bucket. One is that it can make it more difficult to dig in hard soil with the extra width to push into the ground. Another is that you can more easily put too much weight in the loader (when your moving piles of gravel etc.) & not be able to lift it & then have to waste time dumping a little back out. The last thing is that you could possibly put excessive torque or stress on the loader frame when pushing hard or lifting / prying with just one outer corner of the bucket (with the extra leverage you have now)

The up side is that it will work wonders for snow & lighter materials. If you use common sense with it, it will probably be just fine & it may turn out to be more productive than the "right" one would be... especially if one of your primary uses is snow removal.
