I'll start

DK45s - Owen County Indiana - Wallace Tractor (PA - No complaints - excellent customer service) - No local dealer service or issues.

Closest Kioti Dealer was Holtsclaw Sales & Service, Switz City - Didn't get the sale - Price was high, Implement Prices High, Shop rate seemed high - Haven't decided who I'll use for service if/when needed.

I live in Marion Township off of Denmark Road about 7 miles East of Clay City. Who are you using for service? We need to have breakfast or lunch sometime at Chambers or ?

Here in Indiana Kioti seems to have the reputation as being a high priced brand. The 2 dealers nearest to me (and both are too far away for me to want to deal with) price their tractors so high that a name brand dealer will easily price the Kioti out of the market. There are several Indiana dealerships that have gone out of business or dropped Kioti.

For service you may want to check with your local Cub Cadet store. Cub Cadet sells their 8000 series tractors which are simply repainted and rebranded DK series Kioti tractors so Cub Cadet can fix the DK 35/40/45 Kioti series tractors.

Bob, Thanks for the info.

And you are absolutely right - Holtsclaw was higher on the Kioti than I could have bought a Kubota for, his hourly shop rate was almost double - Amazed me and he didn't flinch on the price. There is a Cub Cadet dealer in Spencer that probably could provide the service if and when needed.

Jim, breakfast or lunch anytime - is good for me - I like to eat /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I do not have internet access on the weekend so we'd need to plan to meet in advance - any Saturday is usually good for me /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

OK, I would hope that headachers and I are not the only 2 Indiana Kioti owners that are on this board and by coincidence we are almost neighbors (in a rural sort of way) /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
