Info on 5234D

Just looked at a 5243D, it came with a loader and 60" mid mount mower for 12800.00. Is it a good unit, is this a good price? Does the loader come off buy removing the two front pins?

I've got about 140 hours on a 5252 with a 60" mower and loader. I've moved over 100 tons of gravel, dug a 16X32 ft inground pool in addition to mowing 5 acres weekly and tilling and spraying duties. It is very strong and well built. I would highly recommend this model. The diesel and 4wd should only make it stronger.

I have a 5254 with a 60" MMM and FEL. To remove the FEL all you have to do is pull the two pins in the front and disconnect the four hoses - takes less than 5 min.

I have not used the FEL much, but it does work good. I use the 60" MMM every week - that works great, good clean cut.

I have been looking for a backhoe attachment for it. I was told that Cub would not offer one this year. Talked to the Woods factory and was told that they have not designed the brackets for the 5254 yet - maybe later this year.

Can anyone give me a idea about price for the tractor, FEL and 54/60 MMM?

I got the 5252 with 60" MMM and FEL for $9800 delivered. The MMM is a bit of a pain to get on and off and if you will be using 3pt hitch implements there is no separate lift for the 3pt and MMM.
