Info on a Ford 1920

Had her out today and finally got it sorted out. That is strange that they would give you 4 ranges with 3 speeds. I found in the flat parts of my field I could cut in 3rd range/ 2nd gear......or should I call it 3rd gear mid range. I could drop it to low or reverse with no problem using the dash shifter.

Smokes a little when you first start it. But it starts right up and runs strong so i figure it is from setting so long. It hasn't really been run much in a couple of years. I need to check that air filter too.

I also have to add water to the rear tires. I can go up the hills OK but I slide down the them. I also have to add a seat belt as it is missing. It is going to be a fun project.

Does it have a rops? If not, I don't think it's supposed to have a seatbelt. Chime in, please.

a lil smoke at startup is normal. if it has been babied it may slobber or wet stack some.. try running her good and hard.. smoke may simly clear up. a lil fuel cleaner won't hurt either..
