I know how you feel. I'm dying for some info. I've been looking at tractors for the last 2-3 years and have read this board religiously, not missing a post. I had to wait until I built my house to have a place to store a tractor, but it was finished last month and now I've got an empty garage bay just waiting on the tractor.
I have been debating on a JD 4400 or a NH TC40D as my final two choices, but the new 4x10 series has me all torn up. Does it add some of the niceties of the NH has to the JD? Has enough changed I should get it over a 4400? Can I still find a 4400 close by? Am I crazy for buying something so brand new and putting up with untold problems? The 4000 series seems to have most of the bugs worked out now. All of these questions and the lack of info on the new models is killing me.
On the CTB site, someone posted a price for a 4410 and said the dealer promised them delivery in March. My closest dealer seems clueless about the new models, but that might be because he's got a lot full of 4000s. Plus I really hate to wait until March to get my tractor, but then I would hate regretting I didn't get what I wanted over just a couple of months.
What to do, what to do...
