Ingersoll 70? Tractor

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and love the site. I'm also new to tractors and am planning to start a finish grading/hydroseeding/bush hogging business here is housing-crazy Massachusetts. I came across an add for an Ingersoll 70? 4WD loader w/bucket, 6" York rake, wgt. box and 14" trailer for $6500.00. I cannot locate this model on any sites and before I call I though I'd tap the expertise here. I can't wait to get into the game and get my first tractor!

First of all welcome to TBN. If you get time it would help us out here if you fill out your profile as to where you live or at least the area or state. This way people in your area can help you out better.

As far as your question I did a google search for that tractor and could find nothing but rollers and other equipment. Nothing for that tractor. Wished I could be of more help but I can't. Maybe someone else here has seen one. Do you know anything about it as far as HP or anything like that?

I have heard that Ingersoll has stopped making all tractors, but will continue to support what's out there for some time yet.

Interesting little rig. Price is nice but I personally think if your going to start a landscaping business it may be a tad bit small. I believe the horsepower is 20 but with a gas engine. A 4 foot brush hog would be the maximum size?? But it can be done it will just take a bit longer.
