Hi. New to the site and tractors for that matter. I have a Foton404 with a SL3105ABT 3cyl diesel. Has less than 800 hours. Been a great machine until yesterday. I was puttering around and all of a sudden the rpm climbed and I got a grey white smoke show from the exhaust. I shut it down right away. The temp was fine. It has never gotten hot. I never run it over 1500rpm. I let it cool to check the rad thinking the coolant made its way into the combustion chamber. The rad was still full. Checked the oil in the crankcase and found it full of diesel. I pulled the dipstick on the injector pump and found the same issue. Oil thinned right out with diesel fuel. Can anybody steer me in the right direction. Winters coming and I don't want to have to find my shovel. Thanks.

Sounds like It could be the fuel supply pump, Can you look to see if it has a mechanical fuel pump that is bolted to the side of the block? The diaphragms fail and allow fuel to leak into the crack case diluting the engine oil. I just hope that it didnt cause any engine damage.

I can double check tomorrow after work. I'm pretty sure the line from the fuel tank goes right to the bottom of the injection pump. From what I've been reading on this site its kind of sounding like a pump failure. I've been looking on line and the only pump I've seen so far wont ship to Canada. Seeing that this is all new to me I'm not sure where to look. Google searches are becoming frustrating. As soon as the rpm climbed I shut it down so I'm hoping it didn't hurt anything either.

It looks as tho the lift pump is bolted to the side of the injection pump & runs off the camshaft..
That lift pump has a small oring inside to prevent the fuel from entering the inj. oil system.. it fails all the time..
The lift pump can be removed by removing the 3, 10mm nuts & washers.. it can be tested & rebuilt seperatly..
IF you want to test it.. remove it.. block off the OUT port & apply air to the IN port & submerge in water & look for bubbles at the end that goes into the injection pump.
ANY injection shop will rebuild/test it for you.. The kit is only 20.-25.00 [US} but the labor will vary..

Wow thanks. I'll give that a test. The crank case is definitely diluted with diesel as is the injector pump. When I pull the dipstick on the pump diluted oil comes out. Is the fact that the crank case is so over full that it over took the rings causing the rise in rpm and the smoke show? I appreciate the advise. Thanks again.
