Installed a new injector pump about a month back or so. You guys helped a lot on that. Got another question. My tractor is a 1985 4050 with a 466 non turbo motor. It has a stanadyne rotary pump. What could I expect to gain if I turned it up. I have been told that I can turn it up 10%. What effects will it have on the motor if I turn it up. Just wondering. Any input would be great

Does the motor smoke any now under heavy load? If you are reasonable with the adjustment you will gain some hp. If there is no or very light haze under load then I would turn it till you get some smoke. After that you will need to be careful as you can get some high exhaust temps.
Another option is to add a turbo charger. Just buy the kit for 4250 tractor.
You have a 27 year old tractor. I take it, that it works OK adding extra fuel, can severely damage a lot of things, besides just the engine.
I would leave it stock, and have a long happy life, get the nozzles tested, that will give you efficiency.
