Inlellapanel 2008 GL 3540

Can anyone tell me how much clearence there is from the very top of my dashboard to the circuit boards? I would like to mount a billiard ball sized compass there, but im afraid of damaging the circuit board with the mounting screwes.

No idea but why not use glue/apoxy or double sided tape?

From what I remember it isn't a hard job to remove the dash cover.I did it on my L3240,which should be the same as yours,and I think it was only four screws to remove.
