Take a look at the New Holland BiDirectional tractor. I think this is the kind of innovation you are talking about. Gehl offers the
AL20DX Advantage, on a much smaller scale, manufactured by Avant. The Avant line is very interesting, but not available in this
country.

The NH Bi-Directional is an evolution of the Versatile, Ford bought Versatile prior to selling to Fiat.

You are right there ..The versatile bi-di is a unique machine many other foreign stuff has immitated but never worked on the large scale of the BI-DI (now the tv 140) ...140hp ?
Many other manufacturers have made reverse drives but none as flexible as the bi-di The ignorance is in "euoropen quailty" it is over-rated , I grew up in britain and i don't know any-one who would buy a BMW twice and claas and valtra were nothing but trouble , You would be surprised tractors are ford,MF,JD,and IH . chinese stuff is worth nothing and eastern european tractors like zetor are just a cheap alternative for sheep farmers and belarus just rot away in dealers lots .since moving to canada i think you have the quality right here ?
The greatest development in tractors is the JCB Fastrac...the Mercedes unimog was terrible in comparison .
