Are there any tractor inspection services out there that can go check out a used tractor for private buyers? I know nothing about tractors but will be buying a used one pretty soon, and I would think it would be money well spent. Central Texas area, Austin to Waco.

Tractor dealerships are about as honest as car dealerships, which are more trustworthy than the average Joe selling their wares on the internet.
Go to your closest dealer and check how clean the bathroom is. That will give you some kind of idea how well the business is running. If it's clean and modern, they'll probably be a good bunch of people to do business with.

wow never heard of shopping the bathrooms. I bet that would be pretty accurate on how well they cared about doing a good job tho.

Back when there was full service gas stations, keeping the bathrooms clean was high on the boss' priority list of things for me to do. If people were happy when they came out, they might buy a candy bar before they left.
