Installed Bed Light Today

Saw the other day that someone had put in a bedlight in their Gator............I liked the idea and since I saw it i had to have one...............I found one that I liked and installed it today.............Light has a push button on / off switch on the light itself. Like I said, I got the idea from another member..............That's what I like bout' this website. .....................Roger

Nice....I like the idea.....I'm getting a new Ranger crew cab and I'd like to have one like a dome light as well.

i have the same light as a dome light in my hpx that thing puts out pretty good. at might when i'm in the woods it will light up everything within 10' around the gator so it should do pretty good for a bed light.i see you have the switch on the top though i would put the switch on the bottom and run a little bead of sylicone around it because it's not a waterproof switch that is if it's the same light. here's a picture of the dome light i have it looks like the same one good light but not waterproof.

They do look like the same lights Tommy. They are bright also !!.............When I installed mine, I did put a bead of silicone on the inside and also a small bead where the gasket goes all of the way round'...............................Roger

cool i bet that thing lit up the whole engine area in the dark huh? and to think i almost put two in my overhead console when i was instaling mine .lol.

You don't have any trouble telling where the oil is on the dipstick at night. .......................Roger
