Installed new headlights

Always the guy to improve on something and not being able to see that well at nite when plowing snow I add some led's. So I went from this to this .

Turned out pretty well I think.

Did you just install a wire mesh behind the holes and then bolt the lights to it?

Actually the wire mesh is there only to fill the gaps. Used the existing mounting
bracket the old lights were mounted to. Was a little challenge finding a light that would be close to fitting. Big difference from the original hi/low beam bulbs. They weren't much more than a brake light bulb. Had to fabricate some new brackets but wasn't too hard. Cost about 16 bucks.

Yea those headlights now are not very bright, like you said basically like an 1157 bulb. I keep saying I will do this, but I like the factory look and I seldom do any work ag night so I never follow through.
