Stopped by Barlows a couple of days ago and picked up a sunshade for my BX2660. Installed it today. About to much for me and my wife to do. She's to short.:) Would have been easier for two average strength:) men and a breeze for 3. Written instructions would have helped abit. I attached bracket first after figureing out how it was supposed to go, I think. Then top and then adjustments. Believe it would have been easier to have installed brackets to top then 2 guys lifted it up while 3rd guy attached it to tractor but no 3 guys so it didn't happen that way.

I've got the same one, from Barlow's as well. I'm thinking of changing how they had it mounted to angle a little more level or forward. It's mounted like yours is.

I noticed that too. It doesn't look right at a angle there.

And you wonder why they charge so much to install them when it takes three guys to do it ! ;)

I agree. The one on my previous L3240 and about all I see have the odd up angle. It clamps to the roll bar and that's what causes the angle. Maybe a washer or something could be put under the mounting bar to deviate the angle. If someone figures it out before me, let me know how you do/did it.

Looks like you could add at least 3 washers under the plate on back part of ubolt like you were thinking of doing to level it off. But personally I would have gotten a peice of hardwood and run it thru the table saw at a angle you need and clamp that down. It would cut down the excess force in one spot and possible bounce on side you get with washers. This way the clamped force would be spread out and give it a nice even base for bracket to rest on. The wood could act like antirattle as well.

There is some room for adjustment on mine, at least 2 or 3 more holes, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I was also contemplating if there is a way I could use a lynch pin or clevis of some sort to make it easier to remove for the winter, so I can put my 2620 in the garage for winter and fold the ROPS easier.

Ideas?

Yup- get another 1/8 to 1/4 plate of metal. drill holes that matches where u bolts go( use top as template). invert the u bolts and weld it to the top plate. get large wingnuts and use wingnuts on bottom onto the new plate you made.
