huh my dash has a LOT of unused bulbs in it, you shine light through and stuff like 4wd engaged sign, glow plug sign, 2 pinkish battery signs, headlights on sign, 4ways engaged sign.....yet the wiring schematic and electrical section of service manual do not mention them.

wonder if I can utilize that somehow.

edit:
yeah I got a LOT of pins on dash that have lead to blank spots on the round wiring harness connectors. so I think I will find what pin the glow plug light uses and insert a pin connector into the round dash connector and run wire to the buss for plugs.

mine is a 2010 GC2400.
I know 2021 GC1725M DOES have it and I BELIEVE the 2020 and 2021 GC1723 has it, I just cannot remember.
just odd how mine has (iirc) 5 bulbs sitting behind labeled "lenses" with all the circuitry down the the round multi pin connector YET the tractor side of connector only has 3 or 4 pins in use on each side. ground, right turn/4way, oil (iirc) on right connector and ground, left turn/4way, battery on left side connector.

should be faily easy to find what pin on the board goes to the bulb I want then just put an insert into the tractor side connector and run wire to the buss connector. would fuse it to be safe of course.

This is what I did for the glowplug lights on my 2009 GC2410.

See post #3 of the "GC Series Owner Upgrades And Modifications"

#1) My first best cheap upgrade to list is because of ray66v great idea, and I urge everyone to INSTALL A GLOW PLUG ACTIVATION INDICATOR LIGHT to light up when the glow plugs are activated, 👍.
I purchased a sealed 1/2" diameter red light from Napa and installed it in the dash near the emergency switch. I looked under the dash to make sure there was lots of room where I drilled the 1/2" hole with a flat style wood bit through the plastic dash. The location is approx 3/4" to the left of the emergency switch and approx 3/4" lower then the emergency switch,. I connected a red and black 20 gauge wire (enough plus a little extra to make my connections) with crimp style connectors and installed heat shrink tubing to the two black wires extending out of the back of the light. I then added a 1/4" slit wire loom covering over the two wires. I fed the wires and loom through the hole I drilled and pushed the light untill it was flush with the outside of the dash and made a label to identify the light "GLOWPLUG LIGHT". I connected the black wire to a grounding 1/4"-20 bolt with a crimp style connector along with heat shrink tubing near the back of the dash and the ground side of the battery (this bolt was installed for the horn ground I had installed at an eariler date). I then fed the red wire and loom and connected it the glowplug wire on the flat metal bus bar plate that connects all three glow plugs, again using a crimp style connector and heat shrink tubing, ;). Now I can "see the light" when the glow plugs are activated, :cool2:.

Hope this help you,

KC

did you find yours HAD the glow plug dash light but not hooked up?
thats what I have, that and other things that are there just no wiring from tractor side to dash.
I may also hook up the lights on dash indicator.
no way I can do the 4WD engaged or PTO engaged (no real need....its easy to tell it is LOL ) lights as no switches in unit itself

yeah I figured was a year issue and where yours a 2009 figured I'd ask to narrow that break point down.
when I get chance to do this I'll post the pins used.
