I am building up my laser grading system for the 4520 tractor and finally have all the electronics and other parts gathered up. The new two spool valve I have is a Danfoss PVG 32 proportional model which needs to keep the return line at a low pressure. I am looking for a good place to return to tank on the tractor without restrictions. Pressure flow is not a problem as I have three rear remotes to use.

Below is a picture of an access point I am considering using #30 is a 1/2" pipe plug. It appears to be below the oil level which will reduce air entrainment in the system. My thought is I could add a hose and coupler to this point for my return line. Any suggestions would be helpful.

As long as it is a true 1/2" plug (measures about 3/4" OD on the threads) then you should be good to go I would think. Half inch hose and couplers and you should be all set.

Thanks Brian, it is a 1/2" plug.

Anyone know what this plug and flange is for?
