John Deere 750
Hi

This is my first time posting to the forum. Last year I purchased a used Woods Du All 155 loader from a John Deere dealership for my John Deere 750. It was on a John Deere 750 so I took some photo's of how the lines where hooked up to that tractor. I have the operators manual for the tractor. I hooked them up the way they where hooked up on the other tractor and the loader would only work with the rockshaft control lever in the rear position and not that well. So going back to the operators manual I hooked the hose from port A to the in port on the loader controls. Oil from loader (out) cylinder valve out to transmission case C. Now with the rockshaft control lever in the rear position the loader goes up fairly fast but stops when the rockshaft arm reach the up position. Has anyone hooked up a loader to these ports? as per John Deere. The color photos are from the tractor the loader was previously on. The black and white is John Deere and the Diagram is from Woods

Did you put the pipe plug under plug A ? If not it well work just as you said. Look at your 1st picture.

The A port is a work port and goes to a cyl.

If your tractor is an open center hyd system, the flow path would be something like this.

Pump out to loader IN port.

Loader valve PB out goes to the 3pt.

Tank/OUT port goes to a return hose.

A and B work ports go to a cyl circuit. If A/B spool has float, that is the lift circuit.

C and D work ports go to the curl cyl circuit.

The A plug in the rockshaft not the control valve.

Good Afternoon

This is how I hooked it up I went from (A) on John Deeres diagram where it says "Route pressure oil from this port to IN port on cylinder valve" to where Woods stated was the Inlet (No 27) on the diagram. Then I returned from where Woods stated was the outlet (No 26) to where John Deere stated "Route oil from cylinder valve OUT port to transmission case (C).

Is there another port to use? The reason Im asking it seems after installing the plug per John Deere now I have no movement from my rockshaft (pipe plug blocks the use off I guess). Does anyone think if I hooked up the line from BYD port (B) to the Power beyond port on the loader controls. I would regain use of my rear hydraulics?

I would say yes as long as you have #24 in place.

The oil flows from A to B internally to feed the rockshaft and rear hydraulics. When you put a plug in port A all the oil goes out the A port to the in port on the loader valve. Now oil needs to get back to port B to make the rockshaft and rear hydraulics to work. That is what the beyond port is for, it needs to go to port B. Port C is no pressure return to sump on the tractor, think loader float valve position. # 24 is the sleeve in the loader valve that routes the oil back to the B port to make everything work.

Thank You everyone. I received information from Woods today on the subject. Even though they don't make and sell these anymore they make a new model for the same tractor. In there instruction they indicate that this should be done so at this point I ordered the sleeve #24 and elbow #23.

That well get it going, now for the waiting until you get the part. That is always the bad part for me.
