This is my first post, and might be a dumb question, but here it goes anyways:
A year ago I bought a Case IH 265 offset tractor which was made by Mitsubishi (has a K3H engine). I would like to put a coolant temp gauge on it because I don't trust the idiot lights (or even know if they work). I bought a Sunpro mechanical gauge, and I would like to install it in the same location as the idiot light (do away with it altogether).
The gauge came with a 5/8" NPT thread on the sensor and three different bushings. The 5/8" fittings seems to fit, but it doesn't hold sensor in place- the sensor slides in when the NPT bushing is tightened all the way. The other bushings that came with it don't fit the idiot light threads.
I searched the forum and saw where some other Mitsubishi tractor owners installed a coolant temp gauge, so hopefully one of y'all can point me in the right direction.
