Instrument Lights, other lights

I just got this Ford 1300. It runs good but there are a few questions I have that are not covered in the owners manual. When I turn the key on are all three engine warning lights supposed to come on? Only one of them does. The glow plug light is missing, anyone know where I can get a new one? The hazard switch knob is stripped and there is one missing tail light and one missing and one broken hazard lights. Can I get those somewhere?

OK, I finally noticed some faint symbols on the lenses.
left = battery, replaced the bulb and it works, but the ground is lousy
the old bulb was a Toshiba A12V3.4W
middle = temperature (I think), the bulb looks OK but doesn't come on with the key
right = oil pressure (I think), the bulb lights with the key on
New lenses or a way to restore there color would be great.

Glow plug indicator = it's there, but I don't see anything glowing down there in that little hole. Is that what's supposed to happen?

Middle indicator is water temp, it does not self test with the key on. TO test, take the wire off the temp sender & ground it with the key on, engine off. Glowplug indicator is a resistance coil that glows red as it heats up. May take 15-45 seconds to develop any color. If it is burned out, your glowplugs will only work while the starter is cranking the engine.

My 1510 has he same glow plug indicator. It took me a while to realize it was a coil down a hole and not a broken light or lens. It may be hard to see it in direct sunlight, so shield it with your hand if you can't see it glow. You'll soon learn what to look for.

RickB and Marveltone, Thanks! I figured out the the glow plug indicator does work, I just had to wait until dark to try it. thanks for the advice on the temperature light, I'll try that.
