- Massey Ferguson 543 - Ford 5610
About two years ago my Massey Ferguson 543 (roughly 2007 vintage) started blowing the instrument panel fuse, usually when operating the bushhog, and occasionally with other PTO implements, and, most recently, when simply started. Before this started our Massey dealer along with his excellent service tech went out of business. Have spent some money with the shop of another brand with no success. There is a fair amount of condensation which forms inside the instrument panel when the tractor is operating but its appearance does not seem to be directly related to when the fuse blows.
Is there a way to isolate and identify the short or power surge which is causing this? Is there a module that could be replaced which could solve the problem without pinpointing it? Am I asking the wrong questions?
