Got my tractor in May of this year and have been having a blast doing all kinds of projects. Since winter has been showing some signs of imminent arrival, my thoughts turned to tire chains. A friend and I took a peek under fender to see how much clearance was available. Glad we did before I ran out and plunked down hard earned cash. There appears to be enough space above the tires, however there is very little between inside of tire and fender sheet metal where it is attached to the frame. No more than 1 to 2 inches. Looks like chains on front tires only will have to do assuming I can find them.
Any 4110 owners out there who have run into this problem? I know that wheels can be adjusted in or out, however mine appear to be out as far as possible although I am not certain of this. I have ag tires and fairly level land where I will be moving snow with bucket. Exception is my driveway which is somewhat sloped. Any comments or ideas will be useful and appreciated.
