I have run across what looks like a small throwing knife. It is in a A.G. Russel sheath. I have been trying to look it up and see if it has any value or history. The blade says Bittercreek Cutlery...Handmade...Ed Richardson. If the knife said A G Russel on it, then it would be worth between 2-300 dollars. I got as far as it may just be a preproduction designed knife called 'Sting' from 1976 or so made by A.G..
It is high quality, truly handmade, with a heavy guard (solid nickel or silver?) and thru tang construction. It does not appear to have been sharpened but has some scratches on the metal finish of the mirror bright blade.
Does anyone have any other info or site i can visit to tell me a little more about this knife?
Thanks
