OK, so we recieved our first truck load of tractors and equipment from Kioti this past Thursday. When I placed the order with Kioti I told them so send all the tractrs in crates EXCEPT the DK65 with Cab, I knew it would weigh too much for my fork lift.

So, around 8:30 Thursday morning the BushHog truck (cheaper to have them haul the tractors than using Kioti trucks) arrives, and the first thing I see is the DK65SC sitting at the very front of the truck without tires on it! So we unload the whole truck and then are faced with this mamoth of a tractor to move.

First thing we try to hook our little skid steer up to it and pull it, no good. Then we try to see if the forklift will drive onto the bed of the truck from the dock but that didn't work. So next we get "doctor hook", an old industrial Ford we use sometimes for loading and unloading equipment. Hook the tractor to the rear and try to pull, again no good. So as luck would have it the largest Farmtrac I have on the lot is a 555, 52hp but no water in the tires and no counter weight, no good.

FINALLY, we go get a MF253 with a turbo on it, loaded rear tires, and put a draw bar between the lift arms. Connected the draw bar onto the crate the DK65SC was sitting on with a chain and lifted the 3point hitch so as to put all the weight on the rear of the tractor. Low range, 2nd gear, little above idle. Front tires immediatly buck up so have to use the brakes to steer...needless to say the Massey pulled the tractor off, but it was quite hairy. Wish I was taking pictures of the Massey with the front axle off the ground pulling that DK65SC.

Well just thought I would share the experience. So far we have gotten six tractor from Kioti, and have put together a DK35, DK55, & the DK65SC and they are awesome tractors. Now just waiting to put the others together and get our shipment of CK25 & 30's in.

Now that does sound like an ordeal. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Did you question them as to why they sent it to you that way? Was the driver waiting patiencely? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Got us a 8000# fork lift with 8' forks.

Now we just grab them suckers off the trailer.

Also helps with tire installs.

Our 55 & up tractors always come with the tires..... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif never seen them without, didn't know they would ship them without.

We use a 8000# CAT forklift for our loads, could use a bigger one at times... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

They were suppose to have shipped it with tires, dealer rep told me that he had never had one of those shipped without tires in the years he has been with the company. Needless to say all 55 & 65's from now on out will come complete! BTW we use a 6000 pound Clark

Been there done that. NOT happy /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
I had happen to me with a DK65SC and a DK55C
We did not have anyway to get them off, we only had a 5000lb fork lift. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
We had called the local towing co. and they sent a roll back out and we winched it on to the bed and backed into the shop and droped it on the floor.
I do have a roll back now. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I was also told they do not leave Kioti unless they are on tires. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Kioti did pay the roll back fees. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Yeah, our rollback stays on the road all day, he was four counties over when the truck got here that morning and wasn't scheduled back until after lunch...just our luck!
