Interesting wheels and tractor-1930

I think most of the tractors from that era had steel wheels and steel lugs. I remember an old F30 Farmall with steel wheel with about 4" tall wedge looking lugs on them. You could only run them on dirt

LOL, what a way to test a plane wing!!! You never know when you might be flying at 10k feet and have some farmer drive his tractor drive right across your wing!!!! :D

Those wheels are very different from normal ag-tractor steel wheels.

The tractor looks like it may be 4wd and articulated, which would be very uncommon in 1930.

That tractor is a Massey Harris GP. It is 4wd but I do not think it is articulated. The wheels that are on it are the bare wheels after the steel lugs/cleats were removed from it.

Heres a picture of a Allis with field rollers on it. Looks like thats what they have on the M-H GP.

I too don't think its articulated but imagine the turning radius, an acre?
