They don't say that the 3/16" weld will be cold and weak just that it will weld it:stirthepot:
I find it interesting that Miller sales says the machine can weld up to 3/16-inch thick steel. And output range is 30 to 140-amps. But the Miller calculator says it takes from 140 to 150-amps to weld 1/8-inch steel.:confused2:
I never paid any attention to them. Don't remember seeing any in my line of work.Ever wonder why there is no digital meter on these things?
