Hope someone can help identify the source of an intermittent rattle in my 2011 Kioti CK20S. Tractor has 700 hrs. on it.
The loud rattle occurs when the clutch pedal is depressed. Release the clutch and the noise stops, engage the clutch and it returns. To me it sounded like a release bearing issue. Turning off the tractor and restarting usually resolves the problem. I tried to determine any action that may cause the noise to start but it seemed to be random. Can work for hours with no problem and then for no apparent reason the noise will return. Dealer rep came out to check it and also took tractor to shop test it. (of course no noise)
They broke the tractor open and the release bearing looked good, clutch springs seem fine as well. Pressure plate does not show any sign of wear. They are being very good about this and I am hoping that someone can suggest where to go from here. We are concerned that they will put the tractor back together and the noise will recur. I have a lot of work to complete this fall and don't want to push it if there is a chance of causing damage.
Thanks
