Any one have a picture of how the fuel filter is mounted on the 244? I am reinstalling the factory fuel filter. Some one in the past removed the factory filter and replaced it with a cheap inline. The Case IH/International Owners manual, parts manual and service manual do not show a picture of how or exactly where the filter is mounted. There are only diagrams of where in the fuel system it is located.

Right above the yellow arrow. Sits above your right foot as your sitting on the machine. If you look carefully you can just make out the plastic fuel bowl......

Cpjlube, Thanks. That is a lot farther to the rear than I have been looking for the mounting bracket. I assumed it was somewhere in the engine compartment in the vicinity of the injector pump.

No problem. Been involved with these models for years.

I pulled the steering wheel to remove the dash and fuel tank. Now I see where the filter goes. May be a pain to reinstall the fuel lines, but I'll figure it out. The figure in the owners manual and service manual are incorrect on the fuel nipple configuration on the filter. The straight nipple is on the left and the 90 degree nipple is on the right. The right nipple is 90 degree down, instead of the 90 degree up as shown in the manual. The straight nipple attaches to the line coming from the tank and the 90 degree down goes to the injector pump. If anyone needs pictures of what the area under the fuel tank looks like let me know. By the way, how the heck do you get to the filter housing to unscrew the big nut to change the filter? Can you make a socket to loosen the nut?
