International 284 diesel died won't start

I recently started my International 284 diesel, it ran a few minutes then died. When I try to start it motor seems to have any compression. Does anyone have any idea where I should start looking to get it running again?

If you leave it set for an hour or so, will it start and run a few minutes again, or does it not start at all now?

It does not start at all now.

May be a unnecessary question but did it run out of fuel?

If the fuel line is clear, try toggling the shut off valve to the open position. It is on the right side of the tractor easily spotted by moving the shut off knob. This happened on my tractor.

Thanks guys. I got it solved. Changed the fuel filter and it started right up!
